2 killed when small plane crashes on Long Island
Lt. Richard Perkins of the Southold Police Department confirmed both passengers died in the crash. The two occupants in the plane, a six-seat Beechcraft Bonanza A36, were reportedly pronounced dead at the scene. Police set up near Harbes Farm in Mattituck. The victims have not been identified.
