The National Weather Service reported 20 tornadoes in Texas, Oklahoma, Kansas, Nebraska and Wisconsin on Tuesday. The Red Cross says dozens of people who lost their homes when a tornado leveled a trailer park in northwestern Wisconsin are staying with relatives or friends while others are using donated hotel rooms and a temporary shelter. Jury to hear closing arguments in Oklahoma officer's trial
During a trial in Tulsa, Betty Shelby, 43, said she had shot Terence Crutcher, 40, because she feared he was reaching for a gun in his auto during a routine traffic matter last September. At that point, Shelby fired her weapon and Turnbough fired his Taser, she testified. Her husband Dave Shelby was piloting a police helicopter that was hovering over the scene of the shooting.
