Local Legion honors Flag Day, gives flags a proper goodbye
A line of Guadalupe Valley Young Marines patiently waited to carefully transport them to the barrel of fire as part of the Flag Retirement Ceremony held in the American Legion Post 245 parking lot. Jury reaches verdict in death of Philando Castile
Castile was a kitchen worker at the J.J. Hill Montessori Magnet School in St. Paul, and the district's statement said his death "was a tragedy that impacts many people, and lives in our community were forever changed".
