Confirmed new virus cases hit a new high in US
Polk's positive test rate in Friday's report was 14.8% (213 new cases, 1,227 tests) which is the sixth time in the last 8 days the positive test rate has soared into the teens. OR county exempts non-white people from wearing face coverings in public
At least seven counties in OR imposed the mandatory wearing of face mask order by Gov. Kate Brown on June 19, but one county is exempting people of color from following this rule to avoid racial profiling.
