Although more Americans rejoined the workforce in July, North Carolina's unemployment rate shot up by 1 percent, a loss of almost 63,000 jobs, the NC Department of Commerce reported Friday. Both Aldi and Target are voluntarily recalling peaches from their stores as a safety precaution. Ill people reported purchasing peaches from Aldi, Target , and possibly other retail locations. For bagged peaches, the product codes may be found at the bottom of each package. The peaches were sold in packages and individually, between June 1 and August 22.
