Ritz products recalled over Salmonella concerns
Mondelēz Global LLC announced on Saturday that some of the crackers contain whey powder as an ingredient, which was recalled by its supplier over salmonella concerns. In rare circumstances, infection with Salmonella can result in the organism getting into the bloodstream and producing more severe illnesses such as arterial infections (i.e., infected aneurysms), endocarditis and arthritis.
