Ex-Chelsea's Aina ready to prove a point for Fulham

Luis Boa Morte was the hero in Fulham's only victory over Chelsea in the past 38 encounters, scoring the only goal at Craven Cottage in March 2006.

The most recent of those draws came at Tottenham Hotspur in midweek. It's a mightly impressive job the manager has done. Sort of. Chelsea are decent but about the same level as they were last season, with the massive amounts of spending done between the two campaigns making that slightly less praise-worthy.

Ahead of the game, Chelsea manager Frank Lampard has been treated with good news on the injury front as Reece James and Andreas Christensen have both recovered from their respective injuries. You're never far away from being fired when it comes to Roman Abramovich's ownership of the club. Ruben Loftus-Cheek will miss out against his parent club.

Chelsea epitomise that, having spent big on a host of new stars in the summer, and all the speculation today is over Fikayo Tomori's proposed loan move to AC Milan and whether or not it will include an option-to-buy, while Danny Drinkwater is finally headed for the exit door.

"I thought he played well and I was really pleased to see that because when Ruben was getting fit and was with us, I felt like we missed him previous year", Lampard said.

'He just gets there a fraction too late and every time you see these tackles now. that's just the way the game's gone. "I'm going to do things the way I see fit".

He told Bookmakers.co.uk: "Yes, the results have probably not been as good as we would have liked lately, it's been up and down, but it's such a unusual season - we've seen many clubs doing really well and then suddenly fall, and vice versa".

"If he can keep that up hopefully through the season, and get back to exactly where he was and more, then I will be very happy and he will come back as our player for sure". Kick off is 5:30pm. We'll find out the teams very soon.
