Hogwarts Legacy Delay Keeps It Out of 2021

Hogwarts Legacy Release Date Delayed to 2022 –

The game, which would act as a prequel to the Harry Potter series and allow people to attend an 1800s Hogwarts, will not appear in 2021 as planned. J.K. Rowling is not involved in the project, which is exclusively overseen by Portkey Games, a new division created to oversee interactive Harry Potter experiences.

Unfortunately, us muggles will have to wait a little bit longer to head through Platform 9 3/4.

Avalanche Games has announced that Hogwarts Legacy has been delayed from its 2021 release window to 2022.

We would like to thank fans from around the world on the tremendous reaction to the announcement of Hogwarts Legacy from our Portkey Games label.

Even as someone who could take or leave Harry Potter during its peak, I like the pitch for Hogwarts Legacy, and I feel like it's the one folks have been waiting for - an earnest attempt with some real ambition behind it.

An RPG in which you'll create your own bespoke wizard, uncover ancient secrets, and ultimately determine the fate of the wizarding world, Hogwarts Legacy is now set to release for Xbox Series X/S, Xbox One, PlayStation 5, PlayStation 4, and PC in 2022.

No Nintendo Switch or Google Stadia port has been announced so far.

There was no explanation offered for the Hogwarts Legacy delay.
