Motorola India has officially confirmed the launch of the Moto G 5G in India. Motorola claims the Moto G 5G will be India's most affordable 5G smartphone which by extension means it would likely slot below the OnePlus Nord, which now holds the title. The device will be available from 12pm IST and will be available from Flipkart, a popular Indian e-retailing website that operates similar to Amazon. For those unaware, India has yet to adopt 5G networking at the moment and is planning to hold trials in certain regions soon.
Priced at a fairly reasonable $250 and $300 right off the bat, these phones have been on sale at decent discounts many times since April, so bargain hunters shouldn't be very surprised to see the Moto G Stylus and G Power essentially headline Google Fi's list of holiday steals. On the front, one will find a 16-megapixel selfie camera with f/2.2 aperture. While the exact pricing details are now unknown, it is being speculated that the device will be priced around 24,999 INR (roughly 338 US Dollars).
For photography, the Moto G 5G has a triple rear camera setup consisting of a 48MP main, 8MP ultra wide-angle, and another 2MP macro camera.
Motorola Moto G 5G features a 6.7-inch full-HD+ (1,080x2,400 pixels) LTPS display.
At the end of the day, it might be harder to decide which of these two handsets to buy than whether or not to take advantage of this sweet Black Friday deal, as the Moto G Power has a gargantuan 5,000mAh battery going for it, while the G Stylus comes with a, well, built-in stylus in addition to some extra storage space and better cameras. So stay tuned for more updates, as we will be covering the launch as well. Software inside the phone is Android 10 with Moto enhancements.
Motorola Moto G 5G was launched in Europe in a sole 4GB + 64GB storage configuration at Euro 299.99 (roughly Rs. 26,300).
Fueling the entire package is a 6,000 mAh battery that draws power through a USB-C port at up to 20W.
