Sheffield Utd boss Wilder: In 900 games I've never been sacked

Predicted West Ham United XI v Sheffield United

West Ham United will return to action on Sunday afternoon when they take on Sheffield United at Bramall Lane in the Premier League.

The Blades host West Ham at 2pm on Sunday in both sides' first fixture following the latest global break. The 24-year-old attacking midfielder has scored two goals and provided two assists in eight league matches this season. They have also both faced Arsenal, Fulham and Wolverhampton Wanderers.

The Hammers are 12th in the table at the moment with 11 points from eight matches. They've also had a couple of injuries to key players.

'They've got a really good manager and a good group of players who have been around together for a long time, and that will make them strong which they can use as the season goes on'.

Jack O'Connell won't play again in 2020/21, but there is better news when it comes to John Fleck and Lys Mousset.

Of the four times that the Blades have hit the back of the net, two have been from the penalty spot and with only 21 shots on target this season - the third-fewest in the league - there is little to suggest that they will cause too much trouble at the weekend.

The Blades are at the foot of the Premier League table with just one point from eight matches, and the Hammers will be confident of bagging maximum points at Bramall Lane.

The Blades will take on West Ham United on Sunday and will be hopeful that they can secure an all-important three points of which the boss Wilder knows won't come easy.

They had a hard run of Liverpool, Man City and Chelsea in successive fixtures before the worldwide break.

There is a surprising defensive solidity about West Ham this season, with the three clean sheets to their name nearly half as many as the seven they kept in the whole of the 2019-20 campaign.
