In a statement published by ET on Saturday, Nov. 21, the Chicago-based Def Jam artist's family said, "Jeremih has been transferred out of ICU". TMZ reports that Jeremih's family is thankful for everyone's thoughts and prayers. Knowing that he has been transferred to a regular hospital room is a great sign, and we are glad to hear he is doing better.
It appears, however, the 33-year-old has turned a corner.
Jeremih's family was very grateful for the outpouring of prayers he received. "Also, It's important for people infected to quarantine and let their families and friends know ASAP. Everyone diagnosed with COVID-19 is affected differently, Unfortunately for Jeremih, COVID-19 viciously attacked his body".
Back on November 14, Chance the Rapper was among the first to send his support to Jeremih when news of his condition first broke. His success continued with his second album, "All About You", featuring his hit single "Down on Me". In 2014, his track "Don't Tell 'Em" with YG once again topped the charts, followed by his third studio album, "Late Nights", that was released in 2015.
