The super-popular multiplayer mobile game, Among Us, is getting a new map soon. The account posted a screenshot showing a location on a new map.
The fast rise to prominence by Among Us was solidified today on Twitter when the game's account received its verification checkmark. The map is expected to be "bigger than Polus", so expect to get extremely lost on your first few runs.
The new map is inspired by the Toppat Clan Airship from the Henry Stickmin series, which was the last game created by Innersloth before Among Us. There's also a new outfit featuring a mix of purple and grey colours with a long red mustache. Right now, Among Us has three playable maps, which would make this unnamed map the game's fourth.
From the preview, the map looks to be a more wide open ship, with wood panel flooring.
A sequel to Among Us was in development until earlier this year when the developers chose to scrap the project and focus on the original game after its sudden overwhelming popularity. More details and updates on the game will be announced on its Twitter account.
The addition of this upcoming map doesn't have a set date. The event will stream live on 10 December.
