Miley Cyrus performed a cover of "Gimme More" by Britney Spears in her backyard for a special MTV Unplugged series, and it was in-fucking-credible. It would be great if Miley digs a little deeper into her own discography and gives us a song or two from Meet Miley Cyrus and Breakout.
Miley Cyrus has shown she knows her way around a cover a few times and this is no exception.
And Miley totally killed it, of course, donning a wild zebra print dress with matching elbow-length gloves and ultra-cool sunnies.
She also accessorized with gold bracelets, black and white sunglasses, and stiletto pumps. "We got so high we saw Jesus", Miley captioned an Instagram post in reference to Noah's song, "I Got So High That I Saw Jesus".
"But again, in my sets, I cover Britney Spears to Metallica, so my record will be reflective of who I am, which is just kind of all different pieces of inspiration and influence".
Their dad, Billy Ray Cyrus, proved to be the ultimate hype man by writing, "you're not gonna wanna miss this!" Aside from "Gimme More", Cyrus also performed a cover of Nico's 1967 track "These Days", followed by a cover by Pearl Jam's "Just Breathe".
