Google Assistant is now available on new Samsung smart TVs in the U.S. and would roll out to more countries soon.

The introduction of Google Assistant replaces Bixby, Samsung's own voice assistant that has appeared on the company's televisions, smartphones and other devices in recent years, but hasn't gained a market share to rival Google Assistant and Amazon's Alexa.

San Francisco, Oct 16 (IANS) Google Assistant is now available on new Samsung smart TVs in the United States and would roll out to more countries soon. Of course, you can also use Google Assistant to perform typical actions, like control your smart home or show the weather forecast.

Earlier this week, Google announced that a Guest mode is coming to on Google Assistant soon.

As reported by The Verge, the AI helper will be available on Samsung 2020 smart TV models, including the 2020 8K and 4K QLED models, the 2020 Crystal UHD TVs, 2020 Frame and Serif sets, and 2020 Sero and Terrace models. From there, select the Google Assistant and follow the instructions shown on your TV and the Assistant smartphone app.

To make life easier, Google will be adding Google Assistant support on the recently launched Fitbit Sense and Fitbit Versa 3 smartwatches.

Samsung smart TV owners can enable the voice control feature by heading to Settings General Voice Voice Assistant once the OTA update is available on the device. It's safe to assume that going forward, all Fitbit smartwatches will feature Google Assistant integration.

Well, this is the first time Google Assistant is available outside of WearOS smartwatches. Google says that users will be able to turn on Guest Mode on Google Assistant using voice command ("Hey Google, turn on Guest Mode").
