While the November event has yet to be officially announced, notorious Apple leaker Jon Prosser thinks he knows when it will be - and we don't have long to wait. According to Prosser, Apple will hold an event in November to announce new info regarding ARM-based Macs, with expected date for the event now penciled in for Nov. 17.
Without citing sources, Prosser on Thursday said the upcoming special event will concentrate on "ARM Mac" devices, more commonly known as Apple silicon Macs.
Prosser also says that, to his knowledge, the event will kick off on November 17.
"Apple will continue to support and release new versions of macOS for Intel-based Macs for years to come, and has exciting new Intel-based Macs in development". However, don't expect a complete top-to-bottom overhaul of Apple's entire computing line to happen immediately, as Apple has already said its transition will happen gradually over the course of the next two years. Earlier this week, Mark Gurman from Bloomberg had reported that the first Mac laptop with Apple's own processor will launch in November along with "other products".
