The latest entry will hit PS5 shortly thereafter on the console's launch day.
Get ready to blast out "Invaders" by Iron Maiden, as Viking romp Assassin's Creed Valhalla has officially gone gold, Ubisoft has announced this afternoon. UbiSoft twitted on their Twitter account and share the news that the game has Gone Gold.
"Just yesterday, we had a whole wave of new information on the game with over seven minutes of the Assassin's Creed Valhalla deep-dive trailer, where we saw the game's gorgeous graphics, more about its characters, and what Eivor will be up to in England". For those unfamiliar, going gold means that the 1.0 version of a game has been completed and printed.
This is great news for fans, as some people may have been concerned that Ubisoft might struggle to meet their new deadline when they moved the release date forward to 10 November (in line with the Xbox Series X release).
Aside from combat and stealth, Assassin's Creed Valhalla looks as though it will let you live out your Viking life with drinking, feasts, and dice games. They also ditch Desmond in favor of new protagonist Layla Hassan, who acts as the connective tissue for the newer games. And it is that according to its official synopsis, we will put ourselves "in the shoes of Eivor to lead your own clan from the frigid moors of Norway to a new home in the lush fields of 9th century England".
