OnePlus is soon going to release the flagship OnePlus 8T series and while we are excitingly waiting for more leaks and information, XDA-Developers reports that the China-based company has now uploaded its Messages app on the Google Play Store, so owners of OnePlus phones can get their updates in a more timely manner. The launch event of the 5G device will be broadcast via OnePlus' official website as per the press release. Current speculations only pointed out that there won't be a OnePlus 8T Pro.
OnePlus 8T is expected to be equipped with a 4,500 mAh battery that supports 65W Warp Charge. Now, OnePlus is gearing up to launch its next, the OnePlus 8T.
A second, shorter ad starring OnePlus brand ambassador Robert Downey Jr. talks about moving faster - a likely nod to the OnePlus 8T's 120Hz refresh rate screen. Considering the previous launches, OnePlus usually launches its "T" series in September.
The image also shows the phone will come in a silver colorway.
The OnePlus 8T was initially rumoured to arrive in the market later this month. However, the launch is reportedly delayed due to the coronavirus outbreak that has impacted supply chains. However, OnePlus 8T 5G is expected to add some design changes to the series. It is also rumoured to have 128GB and 256GB of onboard storage options.
The OnePlus 8T is speculated to have a quad rear camera setup that could include a 48-megapixel primary sensor as well as a 16-megapixel ultra-wide-angle shooter, 5-megapixel macro shooter, and a 2-megapixel sensor with a portrait lens.
