Batista Addresses Rumor That He’s Slated To Play Bane In Upcoming Batman Movie

It now seems as though Bautista was there to pitch himself as Bane for Matt Reeves' The Batman. "Please, DC movies... make it happen", a fan tweeted the "Guardians of the Galaxy" actor. One villain that constantly gets brought up is the man who broke the Bat, Bane. Robert Swenson played a version of the character in Joel Schumacher's "Batman & Robin", while Tom Hardy portrayed the character in Christopher Nolan's "The Dark Knight Rises".
