Barcelona demand Guendouzi, £9m from Arsenal for Coutinho

Arsenal could sign Philippe Coutinho for just £9million

Arsenal could land Philippe Coutinho for a low price in swap plus cash deal

According to The Independent Barcelona are open to the idea of a swap deal for Coutinho, involving Arsenal's out of favour midfielder Matteo Guendouzi moving in the other direction.

Coutinho's future is up in the air, after spending last season on loan at Bayern Munich.

While Bayern have a €120 million option to make the loan permanent, it is not an option that the Bavarian's are planning on taking up, and with Barcelona looking to balance the books, Coutinho is expected to be one of the club's more high profile departures this summer.

Barcelona 's attempts to offload Philippe Coutinho could culminate in Arsenal paying just £9m upfront for the Brazilian global.

Many Gunners fans fear Saturday's FA Cup final against Chelsea could be Aubameyang's final game for the club after the 31-year-old entered the final year of his contract.

"He has the Champions League at the moment and they have to qualify for the next round [against Chelsea], and then he could play Barcelona, believe it or not".

Guendouzi has been frozen out of Mikel Arteta's plans in North London over apparent attitude problems.

During his time in England, Coutinho netted 41 goals in 152 Premier League appearances, his eye-catching form for Jurgen Klopp's side earning him his big-money switch to Barcelona.

However, a Catalan Radio Stadion, RAC 1 reports that both teams are now on the negotiation table with the possibility of agreeing on a loan deal for Coutinho.
