As for any more detail about the Nord, or Nords, we'll be waiting until July 10th, when the handsets are expected to be announced for both India and certain European countries.
"Launching the OnePlus Nord product line marks the beginning of an exciting new chapter for OnePlus". Not a lot is known about the upcoming OnePlus smart TVs at this point, however, last week, Pete Lau, the CEO of OnePlus, in a forum post shed some light on the 'mid-range segment TV.' "By optimizing the internal design, we got rid of the conventional four-sided frame and covered the entire front with a sheet of matte black glass".
"We are immensely proud of our flagship products and will continue to create more tech-leading flagships for our users", Lau continued. More than just a single smartphone OnePlus is referring to Nord as a new product line, so we could see a range of new trinkets with this new branding.

The new direction is in response to feedback from OnePlus fans who are no doubt unhappy with the higher prices OnePlus phones have commanded in recent years. While it wasn't quite as expensive as the Galaxy S20 Ultra, at $899, it's well within the flagship price range.
With a price tag of under $500 (around £410, AU$730), it makes the OnePlus Nord comfortably cheaper than the OnePlus 8, which starts at $699 / £599 (about AU$1,100).
As such, OnePlus has basically left a gap in the market of its own creation and now looks to fill that with the Nord device family. The announcement was easy to miss, however, showing up in an Instagram story on the firm's 'onepluszlitething' account. But we expect the OnePlus Nord to set buyers back some $499.
