MediaTek introduces new Helio G35 and G25 gaming series chipsets

Helio G25 and G35 released technology HyperEngine responsible for the smooth change of icons at the screen and economical power consumption gadget.

Taiwanese chipset maker MediaTek has launched its new smartphone gaming-focused G series - the MediaTek Helio G25and G35 chipsets.

"The new chipsets always keep you connected and deliver the lowest latency gaming experience". On the other hand, MediaTek Helio G35 features 8x ARM Cortex A-53 CPU clocked at 2.3GHz and includes PowerVR GE8320 GPU clocked at up to 680MHz. It comes with PowerVR GE8320 GPU clocked at up to 650MHz.

Both chips feature Arm Cortex-A53 CPUs, operating up to 2GHz and 2.3GHz for the MediaTek Helio G25 and G35 chips.

The Helio G35 sports up to Full HD+ display with a resolution of 2400 x 1080 pixels, while the Helio G25 supports up to HD+ display with a resolution of 1600 x 720 pixels. The G25 provides a single camera mode of up to 21 MP at 30fps, while the G35 supports up to 25 MP cameras and AI enhanced camera features including simulated bokeh effects.

For imaging, the chips support multi-camera set-up and include a hardware depth engine for dual camera bokeh photography. Both the chipsets support 1080P video encoding (H.264) and playback (H.264, H.265/HEVC) at 30 fps.

The MediaTek Helio G25 and G35, are focused on the mainstream smartphones category and extends MediaTek's reach across market segments. 7 DL/Cat.13 UL, dual 4G VoLTE, 4G carrier aggregation (CA), dual-band Wi-Fi 5 (a/b/g/n/ac), Bluetooth 5.0, and FM Radio. In addition, provided work and LPDDR4x LPDDR3 RAM up to 6 GB. The new MediaTek chipsets further support Beidou, Galileo, Glonass, GPS, and QZSS navigation systems. Both the MediaTek Helio G25 and G35 have optimal power efficiency due to an advanced 12nm FinFET production process which, combined with MediaTek HyperEngine's intelligent power management, ensures long battery-life and power efficiency, even during long gaming sessions.

The most notable feature of these chipsets is MediaTek HyperEngine that offers intelligent resource management to ensure smooth performance.
