Dying Light's Hellraid-Themed DLC Gets a Release Date on Xbox One

Dying Light DLC 'Hellraid' launches July 23

Techland's Hellraid will finally see the light of day on July 23 as Dying Light DLC

Each run through the dungeon will reward players with coins to purchase more materials and the trials can be played with up to four-players online. It even got as far as having the legendary voice actor Nolan North voicing the main character Aiden.

Dying Light - Hellraid DLC adds another game mode with a progression system, and can be played in both single and co-op.

Techland announced Hellraid way back in 2013 as a standalone medieval fantasy hack "n" slash based around European folklore and unfortunately, saw multiple delays.

With the DLC, there's now a magic arcade machine in the basement of Dying Light's tower that sends you to another world.

"Dying Light, Techland's open-world action adventure game, is getting a all-new DLC this Summer".

The Hellraid DLC for Dying Light will be available for PS4, Xbox One and PC on July 23rd and will cost $10.

Dying Light: Hellraid is an entirely new game mode within Dying Light, but it's also based on the developers' now on hold first-person dark fantasy slasher Hellraid.

Step into a portal to leave the familiar streets of Harran behind and emerge in an otherworldly stronghold overrun by servants of Hell. Improve your Hellraid rank to access new weapons you can also wield outside of the infernal realm. The expansion, which sends players through demon-infested fortress dungeons in search of bounties to collect, can be pre-purchased on Steam now for $9.99 / £7.99. Prepare to face unholy forces matching your numbers and strength for a formidable challenge.
