Nicole Young filed for divorce on Monday, citing irreconcilable differences as the reason for her split from the hip-hop tycoon. The couple have two children together, a daughter named Truly and a son named Truice. Since both are adults, no child support is required in split negotiations.
Dr. Dre and Young married in 1996, the same year he left Death Row Records to start his own label Aftermath Entertainment. That being said, sources close to the situation said they never signed a prenuptial agreement.
Young does work as a lawyer and is reportedly being represented by a high-powered celebrity attorney, Samantha Spector.
Dr. Dre has five other children from other relationships, including Curtis Young, La Tanya Danielle Young, Tyra Young, Marcel Young, and Andre Young Jr., who died of a drug overdose in 2008.
