The post continued, "We will feed each other, re-distribute wealth, strike".
With hundreds of celebrities donating to coronavirus relief efforts and using their platforms to encourage fans to stay home and practice social distancing, the people's pop star, Britney Spears, is once again pushing all the boundaries and wants people's wealth redistributed to help relieve the impact of the virus.
Spears captioned the post with "Communion goes beyond walls" along with three red rose emojis, which has frequently been used as a symbol of Democratic Socialists.
"We will learn to kiss and hold each other through the waves of the web", it reads. We will feed each other, re-destribute [sic] wealth, strike.
"We will understand our own importance from the places we must stay", the post concludes. Communion moves beyond walls.
Zhu caught wind of her message being shared and tweeted that she was "really grateful" to Spears for sharing the quote. A representative for Spears offered no comment. She has been under the conservatorship of her father, Jamie Spears, since 2008, but continued to work including touring and a lucrative Las Vegas residency until past year, when she took a break amid reports of her father suffering poor health.
"Comrade Britney" soon went viral online as readers zeroed in on Spears calling for wealth redistribution. She has been under her father's conservatorship since February 2008, when she was committed to a psychiatric ward after experiencing a public breakdown. Legal commentators have said it is unusual for an apparently high-functioning adult to remain under such an arrangement.
Spears, who isn't known for her political commentary, doesn't control her vast fortune.
