On Wednesday, the "Firework" singer and her American Idol co-stars stopped by Jimmy Kimmel Live, where she revealed the hilarious reason why she won't be inviting her fellow judges to her and Orlando Bloom's big day.
"We have a problem", Lionel informed the entrant.
"We get out there filming in OR, horses are supposed to run by, it was supposed to like this, you know, unbelievable scene OR whatever", Bryan recalls.
"Lionel Richie", Perry said, while Bryan let out a sigh. I have a lot of work to do.do, you know, while I'm getting married again, "referring to his ex Russell Brand, with whom she was married from 2010 to 2012". I don't like your voice.
He proceeded: "I said, 'You're going to have a little bit more of a different time because you're coming from a family where they expect a little bit more'". "I took it very seriously". "I don't like your attitude". Making mild of the uncomfortable state of affairs, Bryan joked, "Lionel and I, we've been dropping hints and this solidified [it]".
She then awkwardly added while the three were all sitting on the late night show's couch that 'It's gonna be a small wedding!'
True to her maximalist M.O., 35-year-old Perry played up the piece's shine with more sparkling accessories, including crystal-studded Jimmy Choo heels ($995), a bedazzled statement necklace by Lele Sadoughi ($325) and starry earrings from Maryjane Claverol ($258). "We're in a business where it's how you recover and 'yes, yes, yes" does not feel awful, so you have to get smacked in the face".
