Travolta and Newton-John gained global acclaim for their roles as Danny Zuko and Sandy Olsson in the 1978 film.

Olivia Newton-John and John Travolta have reunited and recreated their signature looks from beloved musical Grease.

The Grease stars reunited in character today for the first time since the film was made in 1978.

John, 65, also shared photos and videos from the night, telling fans: '#Grease is still the word.

Dressed as straight-laced Sandy Olsson and bad-boy Danny Zuko, the pair attended a Meet "N" Grease singalong in West Palm Beach in Florida.

Tickets are still available.

The event, titled "Meet & # 39; N Grease, quot;, will take place over the next three days at Sunshine State and will feature a question and answer session with everyone's Pink Lady and T-Bird favorites".

Earlier in the week, it was revealed that Olivia was presented with another piece of her Grease wardrobe - her leather jacket!

Her leather jacket sold for £185,000, but was later returned to her by the anonymous buyer, for her to display at the centre instead of being in "some billionaire's closet for bragging rights".

She then put more than 500 articles of her clothing, jewelry, and film props up for auction so she could donate all of the proceeds to her cancer research charity, the Olivia Newton-John Cancer Wellness and Research Center.
