We've got our first look at Scarlett Johannson's first solo movie as Natasha Romanoff in the Marvel Cinematic Universe Phase 4, which is something that has been a very long time coming. However this movie takes place in the aftermath of 'Captain America: Civil War'. The long-awaited first trailer has finally arrived - watch it below. And now that patience has been awarded with the first teaser trailer for next May's Black Widow. Either way, what follows feels more akin to a Bourne movie - Romanoff looking paranoid in European train stations, handfuls of ID cards, and punchy fight scenes in battered-up apartments.
We also see Natasha reunite with her sister, Yelena Belova, played by Midsommar star Florence Pugh. The action-packed 2 minute clip gives a fair idea as to what this Cate Shortland directorial is going to look like. She's directing from a screenplay by Ned Benson and Jac Schaeffer.
"Grounded" probably isn't the word to use, here - but Black Widow certainly looks more Mission: Impossible than recent Marvel sci-fi efforts. It is slated for release in India three days before the U.S., in April 2020.
