Tom Clancy's Rainbow Six Siege gives players unprecedented control over their ability to fortify their position - by reinforcing walls and floors, using barbed wire, deployable shields and mines, and more - or breach the enemies' using observation drones, sheet charges, rappelling, and more.
Operation Shifting Tides follows the same structure as pretty much all previous major content updates for Rainbow Six Siege.
In addition to these two new Operators, players will be able to explore a reimagined Theme Park map, which is back and newly reworked.
Those looking to take a look at what Operation Shifting Tides will have to offer won't have to wait long.
Like Ember Rise before it, Shifting Tides introduces new operators who have the potential for massive change.
Having met via Kali's private military group Nighthaven Special Intervention Company, this duo have worked closely in the past.
In terms of gadgetry, players can expect new ways to stop opponents dead in their tracks, nearly literally. He's a Kenyan defender, whose Mag-NET System can attract and detonate enemy explosives and projective gadgets, rendering them useless - or tactically using them against his opponents. It fires bullets with enough firepower to penetrate destructible walls and operators, allowing you to kill enemies hiding behind teammates or walls. He also can "make Attackers' grenades and projectile gizmos worthless, or greater, flip them against their buyers".
Kali, on the other hand, comes equipped with a CSRX 300 Sniper Rifle that can pierce barricades and hatches in a single shot.
Kali's gadget is the LV Explosive Lance. Ubisoft states that the Rail Platform has been removed while the East and West section have been brought closer together. There are improvements inside the building, far too the East part "has mainly developed, principally the downstairs area" and the Gargoyle and Haunting Dining bomb internet sites have been replaced with the Throne Room and Armory. At last, the Arcade Entrance is now blocked, so the most important entrance is now via the Gong Space. A new Capitao Elite Skin (in which he's a...soccer player?) serves to round up the entire Shifting Tides package.
There are also changes to the core of the game, with a newly implement limb penetration system, a new prompt for rappelling and a decrease in the price of older operators.
In a bid to make Rainbow Six Siege more accessible for players, there are now playlist guides included on the front page that cater to newcomers, alongside quickplay and unranked modes.
The Rainbow Six Siege Testing Server on PC is set to receive this update this Monday, November 11.
Officially titled Operation Shifting Tides, the package will see the induction of Wamai and Kali into the existing roster, bringing the total playable operator count to a whopping 52.
