Griggs' family told The Post that she died on November 5 in New York City, according to Page Six.

Following reports that a 13-year-old Broadway actress has died, condolences from those who knew her have begun surfacing online.

The cause of her death was unknown, as of Sunday, according to the report. She starred as Ivanka in "ONCE" for 17 months, making her the longest-running actress to play the role. The teen was laid to rest at a funeral in NY on Friday and her family has planned a remembrance service to celebrate her life for Sunday.

Laurel refers to herself as an "all american girl" in this sweet shot from July 2018. She also notably appeared in Cafe Society, a Woody Allen movie also starring Steve Carell, Jesse Eisenberg, Sheryl Lee, Corey Stoll and Sari Lennick, who played Evelyn (she was Evelyn's daughter in the film).

She wrote on her Instagram page that her "SNL" appearance was the "most fantastic night of my life". The tender age of thirteen is just way too early for anyone to go.

"I am deeply saddened by the sudden loss of one of my Ivanka sisters", Madore wrote. "Laurel- you were always smiling and always made other people laugh", Madore wrote. "My handsome and talented granddaughter, Laurel Griggs, has passed away suddenly from a massive asthma attack", he wrote. You will never be forgotten, and we will never stop loving you. "My heart goes out to her family". Laurel was a brilliant young lady who appeared on Broadway in Cat on a Hot Tin Roof and Once.
