Adama Traore has been called up to the Spain squad as a replacement for the injured Rodrigo Moreno.
Wolverhampton Wanderers' winger Adama Traore was called up to the Spain squad on Saturday, despite reports suggesting the 23-year-old had chose to represent Mali.
It was said elsewhere earlier this week he had pledged his allegiance to Mali, but he told the Express & Star that was not the case.
Reports had emerged this week Traore had elected to play his worldwide football for Mali, but he insists that is not entirely accurate.
Traore left Barcelona in 2015 to join Aston Villa, who he will come up against playing for Wolves on Sunday, live on Sky Sports.
Adama has impressed for Wolves this season following a hard start at Molineux after his move from Middlesbrough at the start of the last campaign.
