Just when you thought a smartphone with 90Hz display is becoming mainstream, companies have started looking beyond. OnePlus 8 Pro will have curved edges, like its predecessor and the size of the display panel is tipped to be 6.65-inch, slightly bigger than the 6.5-inch panel on the OnePlus 8.
We started hearing rumours about OnePlus' next flagship around last month and as the weeks go on, we're beginning to get more nuggets of hints and rumours about what the OnePlus 8 Pro would look like. OnePlus generally has its launch event in May, so expect the phone launch in Q2 2020.
If this rumor turns out to be true, there is one thing that would be certain: the OnePlus 8 Pro would bring another price hike for a OnePlus flagship. Samsung is rumored to put a 90Hz panel in the upcoming Galaxy S11; OnePlus may use a 120Hz display to keep its phone competitive. There will be a quad-camera setup on the back with a 64 MP or 108 MP primary camera surrounded by an ultrawide angle camera, a 3x optical telephoto zoom camera and another camera of unknown resolution. OnePlus 8 Pro will measure 165.3 x 74.4 x 8.8mm in size.
