Streaking Saints intent on keeping momentum off bye week

Atlanta Falcons: 3 Bold predictions vs. Saints, Week 10

Saints running back Alvin Kamara is likely to return to the New Orleans lineup when the team hosts the Atlanta Falcons in an NFC South showdown Sunday. Trufant has missed the past three games, and the secondary has suffered because of it.

"I feel good", Ryan said earlier this week, via D. Orlando Ledbetter of the Atlanta Journal-Constitution. Ryan, the league's MVP in 2016, now leads the NFL with a 70.9 percent completion rate.

Smith had the second-most targets (44), receptions (28), and touchdown catches (5) of all Saints wide receivers as a rookie past year, and averaged 15.3 yards per catch.

Sunday's game will feature two of the most prolific quarterbacks in National Football League history in Ryan and Saints quarterback Drew Brees, the NFL's all-time leader in passing yards. The Falcons now sit at the bottom of the NFC South standings behind the Tampa Bay Buccaneers (2-6 overall), Carolina Panthers (5-3) and Saints (7-1) in the division. Smith caught all five of his targets in New Orleans' first two games, including a touchdown pass in the season-opener.

The Falcons (1-7) still have injury concerns as they try to end a six-game losing streak.

The Falcons' offense has been decent. Matt Schaub started the game Ryan missed, and then the Falcons had their bye come at the right time.
