Those who want to rewatch the animated series will have a chance soon enough as well because it will be found in the Disney+ service along with a huge catalog of Disney films and TV series. They will also have a massive back catalog from Disney, Marvel, Star Wars, and National Geographic's histories.
It comes after it was previously announced that a long-awaited sequel to Hocus Pocus is set to come to Disney in the near future.
And it was reported on Wednesday that the Mighty Ducks is set to get a reboot on Disney+, with a TV series in the works for the streaming service.
The Mighty Ducks reboot on Disney+ Canada is starting production in February of 2020. Plans for the show were announced early past year but word on the project was quiet for a while there. Now, the show has found it's home.

Last year, The Hollywood Reporter said that Steven Brill, Josh Goldsmith, Cathy Yuspa, George Heller and Brad Petrigala would be acting as executive producer for the series. Therefore, the junior hockey team element looks to be the only thing kept from the original.
Just... just putting aside the fact that we're apparently ignoring how the original Ducks were built by uniting disadvantaged kids with behavioural issues, and how kicking someone off the side flies in the face of the side's entire ethos, and that turning the Ducks - THE MIGHTY DUCKS - into the bad guys of the series is bonkers. That featured anthropomorphic alien ducks, who not only played hockey but fought supervillains.
