Four people were killed and three others injured in an early Saturday morning shooting in Brooklyn, police said. He said that a preliminary investigation revealed that at least 15 shots were fired.
A woman and two men suffered injuries that are not considered life-threatening.
No one was immediately charged in the shooting, but police were questioning survivors and reviewing security camera footage.

"This is a serious crime that requires a serious response", said Councilmember Robert Cornegy, who represents northern Crown Heights.
Two firearms were recovered on the scene.
Mayor Bill de Blasio said on Twitter that the city "awoke to senseless gun violence". "That's why I've called for the city to double funding for Cure Violence programs, especially in areas like Crown Heights and Brownsville".
The location is a couple of blocks away from the 77th Precinct. Past year it had fewer than 300 in a city of more than 8.5 million people.
Chief of Patrol Rodney Harrison said police have received no complaints in recent years about activity at the illegal spot. The gunfire, which began during a candlelight vigil for a neighborhood resident, injured four.
The four victims and those injured were identified as between the ages of 32 and 49, Chief of Detectives Dermot F. Shea told the media Saturday morning.
