PC requirements specs Modern Warfare

Yesterday, PC gamers eager for the release of Call of Duty: Modern Warfare got a bit of a shock when Activision released the minimum spec for the game.

Ansel is a powerful photo mode that enables you to take incredible in-game photos on PC during the Campaign from unique angles, which you can further customize with filters, tweaks, and other adjustments, before being optionally shared on social media, forums, or the Shot With GeForce website.

Call of Duty: Modern Warfare's PC file size at launch won't be as large as some fans initially thought, according to Charlie Intel. Admittedly, it's still fairly modest so far. Similarly to Red Dead Redemption 2, the game's recommended requirements list 12GB of RAM (instead of 16GB). However, you can bet that's 720p 30 Hz, as that seems to be what minimum is these days rather than 1080p 60.

NVIDIA Adaptive Shading is a new, advanced shading technique that enables developers to improve performance and achieve a real-time visual fidelity previously impossible in games. Moreover, Activision recommends an NVIDIA GeForce GTX 970 / NVIDIA GeForce GTX 1660 or AMD Radeon R9 390 / AMD Radeon RX 580. Plus any half-decent quad-core CPU, but that's pretty much to be expected really.

In each of the Specs, the HDD references HD space of 175GB. But the estimated 175 GB required space was the biggest surprise. Lucky for us SSD prices are stupidly cheap at the moment, right?
