Trailer: Young Annie Wilkes Arrives in CASTLE ROCK Season 2

Annie is apparently on the run from the Federal Bureau of Investigation after committing a murder, and when she winds up in Castle Rock with daughter Joy (Eighth Grade's Elsie Fisher), even more weird and horrifying events go down. A new trailer for the chilling show introduces us to Annie Wilkes, a killer nurse who is played by actress Lizzy Caplan.

"Did you do something, mom?"

Stephen King's shelf of horrors meet in the Hulu original series Castle Rock and in the just-released teaser for Season 2 it's clear that Misery comes to town in Season 2, which premieres October 23 only on Hulu. In the latest trailer for the 2nd season of the Stephen King/J.J.

It's not a terribly revealing teaser, but it puts into action what we know so far: As with the previous installment, Castle Rock season two is set in an alternate timeline, one in which a young Annie Wilkes and her daughter (played by Eighth Grade's Elsie Fisher) find themselves stuck in the titular town following a vehicle crash. The first few scenes of the trailer show her getting into a vehicle accident, which is amusing considering it was a auto accident that placed Paul in Annie's clutches during the events told in Misery.

Castle Rock also stars Tim Robbins, Paul Sparks, Yusra Warsama, Barkhad Abdi, Elsie Fisher, and Matthew Alan. Pop, dying from cancer, is at a reckoning with his crime family.

Castle Rock returns on Wednesday, Oct. 23.
