Kevin Hart Released From Hospital 10 Days After Car Crash

Kevin Hart is 'doing very well' after car crash

Kevin Hart released from hospital after spine-breaking car crash

According to People magazine, the 40-year-old actor left the hospital on Wednesday and is now at a rehabilitation facility.

Earlier this month, it was reported that Hart had to be taken to a hospital after suffering from "major back injuries" in a vehicle crash around 1 AM in the Malibu Hills.

Kevin sustained severe back injuries when his 1970 Plymouth Barracuda, driven by his pal Jared Black, veered off the road near his Los Angeles home in the early hours of September 1 and rolled down an embankment.

The 40-year-old actor has spent the past 10 days recuperating from back surgery after he suffered three fractures in his spine following a vehicle crash in Malibu, but doctors now feel he's ready to leave their care and enter a live-in rehab facility so that he can complete the next stage of his recovery, "intense physical therapy".

It also quoted sources to have said that Kevin is "glad" to get out of the L.A. hospital and is displaying a positive attitude, saying, "I'm grateful to be alive".

E! News has arrived at out to Hart's rep for comment.

It has also been reported that Kevin will need to return to the hospital as an out patient three times a week to make sure he is recovering properly, and it is thought it will be at least four months before the star is able to take on any new work. Black was airlifted to a local hospital while Broxterman, who is Eniko's personal trainer, only suffered minor injuries.

"Everything is good, I spoke with Kevin".

So far, Hart has not yet issued an official statement on the crash. And honestly, I necessarily mean, thank God, it could've been a good deal worse.

The accident is now being investigated by the California Highway Patrol. "He's one of my best friends". So, he's a lucky man, and he appreciates it much too. "I wish him the best and speedy recovery and I'm gonna see him soon".
