Antonio Brown and Britney Taylor were in confidential legal talks for months

Antonio Brown accused of raping trainer in South Florida federal lawsuit

Antonio Brown's Alleged Emails to Sexual Assault Accuser Released

Brown, through his attorney, has denied the allegations.

While Brown has denied the allegations and plans to countersue for civil extortion, it's yet another blemish on Brown as he attempts to revive his career with the Patriots.

Ed Griffith, the public information officer for the Miami-Dade State Attorney's Office, said in a statement that "having reviewed our records, we found no prior police investigative contacts regarding these allegations or these individuals".

Heitner said Brown and Taylor had "a consensual personal relationship".

In the portion of practice open to media, Brown wore a No. 1 jersey and a visor with his helmet while going through warmup drills with teammates. Taylor seemingly alluded to her inability to speak up regarding the alleged incidents in her statement released on Tuesday night.

Antonio Brown posted an Instagram video of him working out at the TB12 Sports Therapy Center on Thursday, joined by trainer Alex Guerrero. "Some have taken me up on it and others haven't".

According to Yahoo Sports, which cited a source familiar with the league's talks, the NFL would prefer to move "quickly" in determining if the Patriots receiver should be placed on the commissioner's exempt list after he was accused in a civil lawsuit of sexual assault and rape. He said his department has no record of the incident, and there were never any reports of sexual assault at Brown's house in Pine. "We will have no further comment while that investigation takes place".

Whether or not Antonio Brown ends up playing for the Patriots this week against the Miami Dolphins is still very much up in the air.

Taylor says in the suit she then cut off ties with Brown. The most serious allegation from Taylor is that Brown raped her in May 2018. Taylor says she shouted "no" and "stop", but Brown refused. Brown has worn No. 84 throughout his previous nine National Football League seasons, but that number is now being worn by Patriots tight end Ben Watson. Heitner said she asked for tickets to a Pittsburgh Steelers game.

Brown and his agent, Drew Rosenhaus, on the other hand, had reason to believe that something was in the works.

Brown was originally traded from Pittsburgh to Oakland in the offseason.

He agreed to a deal with the defending Super Bowl champions hours after the Raiders granted his request and let him go.
