Putting behind the disappointment of US Open 2019 final, tennis legend Serena Williams chose the runaway instead of a tennis court to take a quick recovery from the gruelling WTA schedule.

Serena Williams brought her daughter Olympia onto the runway after her fashion show presenting her spring-summer 2020 collection for S by Serena, as part of New York Fashion Week. The tennis star walked the runway and thanked the audience gathered to see her new designs at the NYFW with a precious cargo in her arms: two-year-old cutie Alexis Olympia!

Other famous faces in attendance included Kardashian bestie Jonathon Cheban (seated separately), Gayle King, Ashley Graham and Dascha Polanco.

Of course, it may have been disappointing that she lost, both to her and the supporters but in the end, it still feels like Serena is constantly winning at life because of her daughter, who is her 'greatest achievement'. Trousers and slouchy sweaters followed, then a series of dresses, tops and coats in an animal-style print. The 37-year-old Williams showed herself to be a fan of bold prints, in hues like purple or bright blue, or in black and white. Serena Williams Fashion show in NY also saw Hollywood celebrities La La Anthony and Kim Kardashian posing for pictures at the event. Some of the models wore the same outfit down the runway in different sizes.

Williams noted later on the red carpet that she her intention was "to show diversity of all colours and all backgrounds and all sizes - just attractive women". Burke praised Williams' runway for being truly diverse.
