Beresford-Redman was released two months ago from the Quintana Roo jail in Mexico, and is reportedly already back home in his Southern California home.

Beresford-Redman was sentenced to 12 years in prison after he was convicted of killing his wife Mónica Burgos in 2010 while on a family vacation at the luxury Moon Palace Resort in Cancun. Investigators said Beresford-Redman killed his wife during a confrontation.

After returning to the United States, and claiming innocence, Bruce was extradited back to Mexico where he was sentenced to 12 years behind bars.

The 48-year-old had no comment when reporters with the station approached him outside his home in Gardenia, where he's been living with his mother and two children. At the time, police say she was found naked inside of a sewer, having been beaten and strangled. His attorney told KNBC-TV, Mexican prisoners are eligible for release after they complete 60 percent of their sentence.
