Since all this became public knowledge, it was too late to change the voice actor before the game shipped, but with this new update, the new voice overs have been implemented.
The update offers the new "Maddening" difficulty selection, to go along with the Normal and Hard options.
Wave 2 of the Expansion Pass DLC adds five additional Auxiliary Battles (Battle at Lake Teutates, Battle in the Forest, Battle at Gronder Field, Battle at the Sealed Forest, and Battle at Conand Tower) and new Auxiliary Battle background music (titled "Corridor of the Tempest").

Voice actor Chris Niosi played the male protagonist of Fire Emblem: Three Houses and mobile spinoff Fire Emblem Heroes. Niosi later admitted to abusing and mistreating friends, colleagues, and significant others in a written statement before issuing personal apologies. As for New Game +, the maximum amount of bonus Renown has risen to 50,000 points, and gives an extra 10,000 points when each path is through. We're not sure exactly what will change if you pick the new mode, but Nintendo says that if you clear it without selecting New Game Plus, you'll get a different title screen. If you purchased the pass, you can collect the following items from the bed in Byleth's Personal Quarters: Sacred Galewind Shoes (Movement +1), Sacred Floral Robe (HP +7), Sacred Snowmelt Drop (Strength +3), Sacred Moonstone (Speed +3).
After launch, Nintendo revealed a new difficulty setting would be added a some point as part of its plan to keep rolling out additional content for Fire Emblem: Three Houses leading up to 2020 and beyond. A new song, Corridor of the Tempest, and five additional auxiliary battles round out the Expansion Pass content.
One new type of attire for most students, ex, a football-like jersey for Raphael. The new updates incorporate several new features, with one noticeable new contribution being the replacement for male Byleth's voice actor.
