Hatcher has been officially charged with two counts of criminal solicitation of murder.
Teenager Alyssa Hatcher used her parents' credit card to withdraw money on two separate occasions to pay for a hitman to kill them, police have alleged.
She admitted using $100 of the first withdrawal to buy cocaine and used the remainder to pay her friend to hire a hit man, the affidavit stated. Hatcher then said she paid "a black male" $900 for the murder because the first "act was never carried out".
"This is a sad case when you think about the family dynamics and everything", Sergeant Fred Jones, of the Lake County Sheriff's Office, told Fox 35 Orlando. "I couldn't even imagine something like that".

Hatcher's parents were not injured and told investigators they wanted to press charges against their daughter. The Umatilla Police Department had previously arrested her on charges of stealing her parents' debit card, and now a brief investigation into the stolen debit card's records found two large, suspicious transactions: one for $503 and another for $926. "This was just somebody, who for whatever reason, just didn't want her parents around", Jones told WFTV.
Hatcher was transferred Tuesday morning from the Lake County Jail to the juvenile jail in Ocala. "When it comes to something like that I can not imagine the shock you would be in as a parent knowing that this is my daughter - what my daughter meant to do".
Deputies said the girl's friend reported the crime to a school resource officer at Tavares High School, saying that Alyssa Hatcher paid "a lot of money" to a mutual acquaintance in order for that person to kill her parents.
