While the Pro models offer some impressive tech for people hoping for the very most from their photos, for most people, the non-Pro iPhone 11 offers a whole lot of value. Where the iPhone 11 now features two cameras on the rear, the more expensive iPhone 11 Pro and 11 Pro Max feature a third telephoto zoom lens, making it more suited to hardcore photographers and videographers than the two-lens iPhone 11.

iPhone 11 will be available in 64GB, 128GB and 256GB variants with prices starting from Rs 64,900. It supports Dolby Atmos sound and packs the speedy new A13 Bionic processor.

FOX Business' Susan Li reports on Apple's Cupertino, California, event, where new products, prices and release dates were unveiled.

Earlier in the week some observers had predicted Apple could get a significant bump in sales this year from its slate of new iPhones, given that numerous company's roughly 900 million existing iPhone users are primed for an upgrade, with phones that are, on average, five years old. Unfortunately for iPhone 11 would-be owners, they're stuck with the 5-watt version that has been shipping with iPhones for years. Apple finally added the ability to shoot portraits of your pets and use it for creative depth-of-field shots.

The iPad case is made entirely of recycled aluminium and will have a recently introduced operating system designed specifically for the tablet computers.

Previous generations had the smartwatch face go dark when arms dropped to save on power. It also tried hard to suggest that the iPhone Pro could be used for professional films: allowing you to record two different shots at the same time by recording using two different cameras. All the new iPhones will be available in India starting September 27. Apple TV+ series and movies will also be available with audio descriptions in eight languages. The device will retail for $329 and start shipping on 30 September.

Apple also world premiered its trailer for "See", starring Jason Momoa. In a showdown, we'll end up seeing Apple's new chip edge out the Snapdragon 855 (the A12 chip was more powerful than the 855 in some tests), but it doesn't much matter: both are capable and fast enough to play games and watch TV shows.

"As Apple starts to become less relevant to consumers with diminishing impact from fancy industrial design tricks and their cloud software offerings that can not compete with Google's, they're subtly doubling down on how their device ecosystem is inherently more private than any other ones out there", he said.

Apple is entering the video streaming race, taking on Netflix, Amazon, Disney and others with a monthly subscription of $4.99.

Along with the new streaming service, Tuesday's announcements, which included a $4.99-per-month for its new Apple Arcade gaming service, represent a continuing shift in the importance of services to Apple's bottom line.
