Andriy Yarmolenko ended his year-long wait for a goal, after an injury struggle, and £45m striker Sebastien Haller followed his two goals at Watford with another one here.

Norwich City boss Daniel Farke has confirmed that defender Grant Hanley will miss the club's trip to West Ham on Saturday.

"At this level small details cost".

Farke said: 'I'm a big friend of VAR but this game is the ideal example that VAR doesn't always work out and makes football not 100 per cent fair. There was a nasty tackle against my centre back (Zimmermann) and it wasn't even given as a free kick.

"Then a few minutes later my centre-back wasn't able to spring back and block the cross [for West Ham's first goal]". They will square off against West Ham United at 10 a.m. ET at Olympic Stadium.

However, 11 changes were made for a disappointing 1-0 loss at League Two side Crawley Town in the League Cup second round on Tuesday evening, with Timm Klose picking up a potentially season-ending knee injury.

"I'm not claiming for red cards, it is up to the VAR to judge it. The only thing I say is that my centre-back is in hospital and the other player is on the shoulders of the West Ham goalscorer", Farke added.

'So this is the flawless role model that VAR doesn't always work out to be the ideal role model'.
