The Apple Watch Series 4 will perhaps be remembered as the model that brought ECG to smartwatches.
The Apple Watch Series 5 will come in Ceramic and Titanium models.
As is typically the case, Apple's new trio of iPhone models will likely garner the lion's share of attention at the company's upcoming fall media event.
What you're seeing here is an animation screenshot when the watch is being paired. These premium materials have never been used on an Apple Watch before and could help reinforce their image as luxury timepieces, despite that rather outdated square design.
This could be because it took Apple a little longer to figure out how to craft the new case from ceramic, which is a tricky material to work with. If history is any indication, Apple this year will also roll out a completely new iteration of its increasingly popular Apple Watch. The revamped Apple Watch will be available in 40mm and 44mm sizes same as Apple's Watch Series 4.
On Saturday, TechRadar reported that analyst Ming-Chi Kuo predicted a September 2019 launch date for the Apple Watch 5 - further hinting towards the ceramic and titanium bodies being introduced with this new smartwatch.
And unlike usual, we haven't heard much about a new generation of Apple Watch devices. This was revealed once again by iHelp BR, who found an image called "HoldForRelease" hidden inside iOS 13 beta 7. It isn't clear if these models could end up as an all-new Apple Watch Series 5 and it is possible Apple will be releasing these two as new additions to the current Series 4.
