President Trump and CNN news anchor Chris Cuomo. A video released Monday shows he sometimes displays similar brio when he's not behind the desk.

The video, which blew up after being published on a right-wing YouTube channel called "THAT'S THE POINT with Brandon", captures Cuomo growing agitated and ultimately threatening violence after an unidentified man approaches him and apparently calls him "Fredo". Chris Cuomo and the man are then seen nearly getting into a physical confrontation. You're in for it. Cuomo said. "You know my name's not f***ing Fredo".

The claim in that tweet that Rush Limbaugh calls Cuomo Fredo are backed up by these transcripts.

According to Straka, the man who insulted Cuomo was a Trump supporter. "I'll f***in' throw you down these stairs". Cuomo took to Twitter and said "Appreciate all the support but - truth is I should be better than the guys baiting me".

Cuomo's father, Mario, was a longtime mayor and governor of NY. "But I'm not going to fall for your f--ing insult".

Hannity applauded Cuomo, saying the CNN host was the one who "deserves the apology". However, he shouldn't "add to the ugliness" and "should be better than what I oppose".

The video was tweeted by Ryan Saavedra, a reporter at The Daily Wire, a conservative website run by conservative political commentator Ben Shapiro.

The heated exchange includes Cuomo, the son of New York Gov. Andrew Cuomo, responding by saying "My name is Chris Cuomo".

CNN spokesperson Matt Dornic issued a statement in support of Cuomo. "You didn't know what you were doing when you called me Fredo?".

"If anything, this is my fault, and I'll be glad to take the blame", he said. "He's out with his 9 year old daughter, and his wife, and this guy is being a jackass in front of his family".

President Donald Trump weighed in on Twitter Tuesday morning, tying the incident in with the gun control debate. But Cuomo encourages the man to "own" what he said.

"I thought that's who you were."

In the iconic mob story, Fredo Corleone was sent to Cuba to look after the family's interest before betraying his brother as communism took hold of the island nation, later telling his brother he was unhappy that everyone thought he was "dumb".

In 2018, CNN analyst Ana Navarro was criticizing Trump Jr., calling him an "entitled, rich, spoiled little brat whose only call to fame is being his daddy's son".
