The WNBA has played host to a insane brawl in which six players were ejected after a fight broke out midway through the fourth quarter of Dallas' 80-77 win over Phoenix.
Something set off Mercury center Brittney Griner who took out after newly acquired Dallas rookie Kristine Anigwe.
Kayla Thornton, Kaela Davis, and Kristine Anigwe would be ejectd from the Dallas Wings, while Griner, Diana Taurasi, and Briann January were the Mercury players sent to the showers early.
Griner and Anigwe were among six players ejected for the fourth-quarter incident following a video review.
"Today I went on the court to make sure my teammate didn't get jumped", Taurasi said.
Griner, a former No.1 draft pick and six-time All-Star, quickly lost her cool as she started throwing punches at her opponent before chasing her down the court. Griner exited the game with 13 points and five rebounds.

It was the Wings' first road win since July 12, 2018 against the Los Angeles Sparks.
"Anigwe was doing the same thing to BG [Brittney Griner] a couple of weeks ago in Connecticut", Mercury guard Leilani Mitchell told reporters after the game. Allisha Gray added 16 points.
