Manchester United manager, Ole Gunnar Solskjaer, has warned Jesse Lingard to stop making bad decisions and raise his game.
Since February 2018, Lingard has scored as many global goals as he has done in the Premier League (4-4) and recently received unwanted publicity over a crude social media post during a holiday in America.
"He has always got the quality, talent, he's going to score goals and his work rate is improving".
"This season, we know we have to do better and do more, because when you play for Man United you have to fight for trophies and we know that".
"Anthony had a top season when he came, his first season top scorer, then he's had a couple of seasons where he's not hit that amount of goals and quality so I'm sure we will see a better Anthony this year".
Manchester United snapped up Wales worldwide Daniel James in an £18m deal from Championship side Swansea City despite his lack of top-flight experience. What we have discussed can be between the two of us but I expect more from him and he knows what I expect'.
Solskjaer has successfully strengthened at right-back after the Red Devils made Aaron Wan-Bissaka one of the most expensive English defenders following his £50m switch from Crystal Palace. "He's a top boy".
The club's coaching staff have reportedly been impressed with the midfielder's fitness during pre-season so far as he looks to be a regular fixture at Old Trafford this season.
