Aubameyang Thinks Mesut Ozil Looks Like Megan Rapinoe And He's Spot On

Hakim Ziyech

Ajax chief Marc Overmars advises Arsenal to sign Hakim Ziyech this summer

It's common for players to start dyeing their hair as other players like Paul Pogba and Sergio Aguero have also done the same but what's surprising is that it wasn't even Mesut Ozil's idea to change the colour of his hair as he confirmed in a video that he lost a bet against Alexandre Lacazette hence him facing the consequences.

Since joining Arsenal in 2013, Ozil has gone hot and cold for the club when it matters, and has been tipped to finally leave this transfer window.

Ziyech has scored 32 times in 91 games in three seasons in the Dutch top flight, and the African star has also scored seven goals in 34 Champions League fixtures.

One posted: "Maybe we'll know when he's playing or not now."

Ozil is the best-paid player at Arsenal despite the former Germany worldwide playing a bit-part role at the north London side under Unai Emery last term. "Only thing his done for the past two years", one said.

One fan joked: "Only thing that could make him noticeable on the field."

Marc Overmars, a former Gunners winger who is currently the director of football at Eredivisie outfit Ajax Amsterdam, has now urged Arsenal to sell the former Werder Bremen star and sign Moroccan midfielder Hakim Ziyech as his replacement.

'I think he has played better every year and his statistics are exceptionally good.

Arsenal fans have vehemently defended Ozil in recent years but an increasing number of the club's supporters were left wondering whether the World Cup victor is really worth the hassle at times last season.

"I believe Hakim Ziyech is better than Mesut Ozil", Overmars is quoted as saying by Calciomercato.

'They look more at the numbers than at what he shows and what is happening around him. But they (Arsenal) didn't listen to me.

However last season, just months after signing a huge new deal, the former Real Madrid man found himself out of Unai Emery's team and warming the bench more often than not as the north London side finished fifth in the Premier League.
