Lohan will serve as a panelist along with Australian radio personality Jackie O, singer Dannii Minogue and comedian Dave Hughes. "The beaches are insanely lovely. who knows I may even look at opening a Beach Club there".

Back in June, Lohan shared a few snaps from a record session, revealing she is "hard at work" on new tunes.

Tom Tilley chimed in: 'I don't know if she would recognise Toadie from Neighbours with or without a mask!'

The Mean Girls actress added: 'The Masked Singer is such a fun concept that really gets everyone hooked and wanting more.

'I am definitely going to see if I can try a few of the costumes on also.

The first season of the American version wrapped up earlier this year, with a panel of judges that included Nicole Scherzinger and Ken Jeong. I feel honoured to sit on the panel and be part of such an fantastic show.

The series follows 12 celebrities who face off against one another while wearing an elaborate costume that conceals their identity. "Each week will be so exciting to watch who performs and try to guess who's behind the masks".

Lindsay has established herself as a formidable reality show talent after starring in her own program, Lindsay Lohan's Beach Club, set in Mykonos, Greece.

Gunsberg told The Herald Sun that the Masked Singer will be a guaranteed hit. The show was cancelled after it failed to draw big ratings for MTV.

Here's hoping that Lohan's new role in the talent show will be a victor for her.
